Chapter 1 - Reflection
Chapter 12 - Succes Reflection
A student explores four different visions of the future and gains insight into her choice of study programme on the basis of the most desirable scenario. A teacher creates a new lesson series together with colleagues and no longer experiences this as a daunting task but as an opportunity to get the best out of herself and her students.
These are two examples of participants who are reflecting. They are thinking consciously about what they are doing and taking time to pause and consider their actions. They do this by working through a series of structured exercises for reflection, together with others. The activities which make up these exercises are what we term 'reflection tools'. Using reflection tools enables the participants to think concretely about their experiences, actions, behaviour and choices.
