Reflection on the method
Link practical experience to theory, being able to judge the value of information, and acquiring knowledge of research methods (theory of knowledge and philosophy of science).
Questions
How does this work? Why does it work? Why doesn't it work? Can I explain to others how it works?
What did I do precisely? What theory did I apply? Could I have done it differently?
How do I know it works? What is my benchmark?
Aim
To gain confidence in applying new methods.
Reflection tools work best when the procedure is properly followed and when the facilitator has some experience in using the tool. Practising the use of the tools in a safe environment can help with this. |
