Line Reflection is about reflecting on the quality of your profession, product or assignment. This reflection is future oriented.

The impact

Line Reflection gives the participant engaged in reflection a better view of the quality of their profession, product or assignment. In addition, thinking about quality norms increases one's involvement in maintaining standards. The process of making quality norms operational provides the participant with an action plan.

The facilitator

As facilitator of a reflection session you need to make the following preparations

• Practise Line Reflection.

• Choose a suitable moment in the programme.

• Prepare the necessary teaching aids: 2 flip charts, post-its, pens.

During the reflection session, as facilitator, you

• Follow the plan.

• Support the reflector's learning process.

• Keep the necessary distance between yourself and the reflector.

• Pose critical questions.

• Ensure you have no hidden agenda.
