Handout Plan for Brainstorm Reflection (pdf-file)
The contributor encounters new perspectives on their situation and can thus change their behaviour. By first thinking freely and taking all ideas seriously, and then ordering these, other participants increase their analytical ability and develop the ability to look systematically for underlying questions. Because they are actively involved in the subject, they gain more insight into the different aspects of a (work) situation.
The contributor explains the situation, without being interrupted.
Participants ask questions for clarification. They do not give any value judgments.
The contributor decides which insights they want to pursue.
As facilitator of a reflection session you need to make the following preparations
Practise with Brainstorm Reflection.
Practise analysing (work) situations and thinking of categories.
