With Point Refection you step out of a particular situation in order to be able to judge your own behaviour from a distance. You analyse your behaviour from a point which is outside the situation.
This tool is based on work by Henk Procee, who has been inspired by Immanuel Kant's theory of knowledge.
The aim of Point Reflection is to
Make participants aware of their own behaviour and the motives behind it.
Make participants aware of the variety of possible approaches to a situation.
Help people to think of a new approach to a situation.
This reflection tool can be used in the following situations
The reflection group has a maximum of 8 participants. Larger groups need to be split or divided into sub-groups of 2 or 3.
The reflection session lasts approximately one hour, depending on the input and the number of reflection points.
The reflection session needs to be a relatively short but deep analysis of one's own behaviour.
Point Reflection can also be used in a one-to-one coaching situation.
