With this tool an ideal picture of the future is created on the basis of participants' peak experiences in relation to a theme or question. The method consists of four phases: discover - dream - design - deliver.
The aim of Appreciative Reflection is to enable the participants
To realise that the target situation they want to achieve already exists.
To learn, through examining and analysing peak experiences, why they were successful.
To realise that talking about positive experiences is motivating.
This reflection tool can be used in the following situations
The reflection group has a maximum of 50 participants working in pairs.
The reflection session lasts from one to one-and-a-half hours for the first two phases. The whole exercise takes half a day.
One to one in coaching situations.
The exercise can also concentrate on the first two phases.
